Hi, I’m Jedi. I have a twin sister, named Jada.
We were born on August 5, 1992. We are in the eighth grade now. Jada and I do everything together. We are in the same class. We dress alike. We look the same. We always get other people confused. This really makes Jada and I laugh. Teachers and friends always get us mixed up at school. Even our father has trouble telling us apart. Our mother doesn’t. She always knows which twin is which. Jada and I often try to confuse her, but it has never happened.
One day, our teacher told our mother to get one of us a different haircut, so that he could tell us apart. Jada and I were horrified. We didn’t want to look different. We liked looking the same.
Our mother came to the rescue, and refused to make us cut our hair. We were happy just the way we were and didn’t want to change. Our dad just shook his head. He would have to stay confused. Jada and I didn’t care.
We knew which one was which, and that was all that mattered.

Activity 5
Work with your partner to answer the following questions.
1. Who never gets confused telling the twin girls apart?
2. What did their teacher suggest to make them look different?
3. How did they feel about the teacher’s suggestion?

Shinta       : At 21? Do you mean Black Swan? The Oscar nominator? …..(2), really.
Jojo          :……(3), what time should we go?
Shinta       : seven p.m. …….(4).

This website entitled “ESL: English Study and Learning Materials! We can find some menus that are very useful both for teachers and students. Those are: Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing, Grammar, Vocabulary, Business, Pronunciation, TOEFL/TOEIC, and idioms. From those menus, we can find a lot material about English.
Ok, I will focus on the menu “Speaking” only. If we click “Speaking”, there are two menus of ESLgold resources. The first menu provides: phrases for conversation, textbook recommendation, learning strategies, topics for conversation, quick link, teaching speaking, speaking situation, and quizzes. The second one provides the levels of speaking teaching-learning. There are low beginning, high beginning, low intermediate, high intermediate, and advanced.

From this website, teachers can teach their students using the facilities that provided in this website. Teachers can explore the speaking materials from this website, besides they use the textbook in school as usual.

And for the students, they can improve their speaking skill from the material. They also can practice speaking by themselves. So, not only in the school when their teachers ask to speak but also at home they can practice through the material provided in this website. Virtual learning can be done within this website. Students can improve their skills because of many complete features in this website. The quizzes are also easy to follow and it is also helpful for them. In short, they can improve their speaking skill by exploring this website and practicing a lot at home.

In my opinion, this website is very useful for both teachers and English learners because the features are complete enough. This website uses the simplest instructions and very easy to follow. This website are appropriate for many grades of English learners because it provides some levels in its menu from low beginning, low intermediate, high beginning, high intermediate, and advanced.
